Daigo (ダイゴ) is a character in 7th Dragon 2020 and 7th Dragon 2020-II. He is a member of the group SKY, alongside Takehaya and Neko.
His complete name is Daigo Tendo (天道大吾.tendo daigo).

Daigo is an orphan that grew up alongside Neko and Takehaya. The three of them were adopted by Murakumo as children and were experimented on under Natsume's orders. They subsequently escaped from Murakumo and have continued to hate the organization ever since, forming a youth group named SKY, whose purpose is to oppose Murakumo and hunt Dragons.
7th Dragon 2020[]
Daigo is first met at the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building in Chapter 0, where he and Neko save Unit 13 from Warcry. He appears once more at SKY's base in Shibuya as an enemy, revealing his, Neko's, and Takehaya's hatred for Murakumo as a whole.
Takehaya, Neko and Daigo remain hostile to Unit 13 for some time until the trio challenge Unit 13 to a fight to prove if they are true hunters. After losing the fight, the trio acknowledge Unit 13's worth and become less hostile towards them.
After Natsume's disappearance, Daigo and SKY are given shelter along with other civilian refugees at Tokyo City Hall and become allies.
When Natsume reemerges as the mutated Mizuchi in Chapter 5, Daigo and Neko are present in the Navigator room watching the live footage of Aoi and Kirino face Mizuchi at the base of Tokyo Tower, with Neko in shock from all the civilians and soldiers who lie dead around them.
After Unit 13 defeats the last Dragon at the top of the space-warped Tokyo Tower, Daigo and Neko can still be found in the Murakumo building.
7th Dragon 2020-II[]
Daigo also appears in 2020-II alongside Neko and the surviving members of SKY, who returned to Shibuya following the previous year's battle and occasionally assist Murakumo with monster exterminations.
Midway into the second dragon invasion, Formalhaut's cursed powers revive the Emperor Dragon Sleepy Hollow, which threatens to throw Shibuya into chaos once more. Daigo, wanting to settle the score, helps set up the "Confu-Cutter" devices created by Kirino to offset the effects of the the dragon's spores.
When Formalhaut invades the Diet Building and renders the surface uninhabitable by spreading Black Dragonsbane, Daigo is among those who volunteer to go on a suicide mission to secure the building's underground levels by closing several bulkhead doors.
Daigo seemed to have perished in that mission but actually survived, somehow ending up at the Great Metropolitan Cavern where he rescued a young boy. The boy would later send out a quest with a 10Az reward to help locate the "bear" who saved his life. Unit 13 takes the quest and arrives just in time to stop Daigo from being attacked by a dragon. Though his memory was somewhat muddled due to extended exposure to the Dragonsbane, he showed no major symptoms suffered by other victims, probably due to his altered genetic structure.
After returning to Sky's residential area, Daigo himself sends out a "quest" challenging Unit 13 to a brawl for old time's sake. He will give Unit 13 some boxed lunch as well as an invitation to talk at the lounge afterward, granting them his gear and personal contact details.
Trivia[]
- Daigo is of the Destroyer class. After doing all of the relevant quests, he will invite Unit 13 to the Sky Lounge and give them Bare Knuckle weapons and Soul Of Steel armor for the Destroyer in their party.
- Daigo is well liked by children, who often refer to him as a "gentle bear".
