Gatou (ガトウ), full name Genji Gatou (臥藤玄司) is a supporting character who appeared in 7th Dragon 2020.
He is the leader of Unit 10, a seasoned war veteran and combat instructor.

Though Gatou does not appear in the game per se, his armband will be found inside a treasure chest for some reason when Unit 13 returns to Ikebukuro to fight with the revived Emperor Dragon Jigowatt.

Notes & Trivia[]
- Gatou's weapon is never shown in-game but a handful of illustrations show him wielding a large sword in the shape of a combat knife, suggesting that he is of the Samurai class.
- Gatou's personal effects can be obtained in both games as accessories. His bandanna is found within the Ikebukuro dungeon in the first game and ported to 2020-II using 2020's system file, and his armband can later be gained from the same area in the sequel.
