Hacker is a class in 7th Dragon 2020 and 7th Dragon 2020-II. Experts in all things related to technology and information, they specialize in status enhancements and status dehancements.
Overview[]
Hackers are buffers that offer stat increasing buffs, HP/MP regeneration and enemy debuffing skills. Hackers have skills that can order enemies to attack themselves and their EX skill grants an invincible status that makes the enemy miss 100% for the turn of EX skill activation. As Hackers are mainly supporters, they have limited attack options.

- The appearance commonly attached to the Hacker class is referred to as the "Otaku Style".
- In promotional items and goods, the male otaku is named Red, while the female is Chelsea.
- The Hacker class is merged with the Trickster class in 7th Dragon III Code: VFD, creating the hybrid class Agent that utilizes hacking skills with pistols.
- The female Hacker character design is available from the paid DLC in 7th Dragon III Code: VFD, appearing mysteriously in the 7th Encount virtual reality game, where she is recognized as one of the legendary Unit 13 members by Nodens' Nagamimi, and keeps on fighting dragons in the game with S-Rank prowess until the player finds and rescues her, only to find out that she is amnesiac. As she has no place to go to, Allie and the player makes an offer to hunt dragons together, in which she accepts and becomes available as a character model in the Terminal.

A hacker is any skilled computer expert that uses their technical knowledge to overcome a problem. While "hacker" can refer to any skilled computer programmer, the term has become associated in popular culture with a "security hacker", someone who, with their technical knowledge, uses bugs or exploits to break into computer systems.
