Izumi Sakuraba (桜庭泉美) is a character in 7th Dragon 2020-II. She is second-in-command of the U.S. Special Forces group SECT 11.
Personality & Character[]
Izumi is a Japanese descent, US-born citizen. When Unit 13 first meets her, Izumi has a certain superiority complex, especially towards the new Japanese people she meets, considering them "idiots". Her view of battle is that strength prevails over all other things. Her competitive attitude often brings her brother trouble, making him often follow up politely over her rudeness.

7th Dragon 2020-II[]
Dispatched directly by the new President's orders, Izumi, her brother Shouji and their Dragon hunter group SECT11 arrive in Tokyo in 2021 AD with the apparent mission of assisting in the 2nd wave Dragon extermination, but in truth they have an ulterior mission.
Izumi and Shouji appear as a minor boss fight in chapter 4. Izumi herself fights Unit 13 in chapter 3.
She eventually teams up with Unit 13 after Shouji is killed when Fomalhaut attacks Murakumo.
