Miya (ミヤ) is a supporting character who first appeared in 7th Dragon 2020. She is part of Murakumo's Structural Development Division, in charge of resource management, facility construction, repair and improvement.

Miya has short black hair and brown eyes. She is always seen wearing a military officer's uniform as well as the Murakumo armband.

A year after the first dragon war, Miya requested to become an on-site supervisor for construction work and has since left her resource management position, which will later be taken over by Shizuka. She can usually be found in the Minister lodging floor of the Diet Building.
Interactions with Miya for most of the game will just be through a couple of quests: The first one is her personal request for assistance with the Tokyo Sky Tower's communication fixtures, and the other is an interview for Shizuka's PR newsletter project. Unit 13 can ask Miya either professional or personal questions in the process.

- Unit 13: How did you get into Murakumo?
- Miya: I was scouted as a college student. At the time I was doing research about advanced structural engineering and wanted a place where I can put the theories I developed into practice.
- Unit 13: Why did you choose the Structural Development Division?
- Miya: I love both architecture and construction work. Back when I was a kid in elementary, I built a 1/100 scale model skyscraper using simple blueprints.
- Unit 13: Tell me why you think your job is worthwhile!
- Miya: Where there are buildings, there will be also people who live or work in them. Developing new structures in fresh sites is a good thing, but it's even better to restore broken spaces into beautiful and functional ones. There is nothing that gives me more satisfaction than creating new kinds of lifestyle and culture with buildings.
