Warcry (ウォークライ, uookurai) is an Emperor Dragon who occupied the Metropolitan Government Building in 7th Dragon 2020.
Abilities[]
Warcry's influence distorts the fabric of reality, reversing the vertical orientation of a structure's interior space. Though the exterior remains right-side up, any living being who enters the space will be subject to effects of the reversed dimension. Going out from any passage other than the entry point will keep anyone within the same space, where the sky is also flipped and superimposed by a black void.
In battle, Warcry uses a powerful fire projectile and a loud howl that paralyzes enemies.

Etymology[]
"War cry" is a practice in combat since ancient times of shouting in battle to instill courage and morale in oneself as well as allies. It can also intimidate one's enemies.

| “ | In the first game, I wanted to make an orthodox dragon that also has the presence and postion of a "King". It would be a simple but strong red dragon having the personality of a monarch to match. The addition of dark tones would make it stand out from the rest. Warcry's design would also have some industrial touches to it, the most notable of which would be the metallic profile, horns and wings. The latter part is my favorite point and were made with aircraft wings in mind. Warcry is the very first Emperor Dragon encountered in the opening stages of game, so he would most likely leave a lasting impression. | ” |

- Warcry is featured in the opening movie, first seen leading the dragon invasion and would later be battling 5 members of Unit 13.
- Warcry's influence seems to be the weakest among the Emperor Dragons, since it is the only effect that faded after he was slain.
- Warcry has a lot of things in common with Tiamat, another Emperor Dragon from 7th Dragon 2020-II:
- Both dragons have red scales.
- They are the first major bosses in their respective games.
- Both Warcry and Tiamat won their first battle against Unit 13, but were eventually slain by them in a subsequent encounter after sustaining injuries from third-party attacks.
